Special City Council Meeting on Light Rail

Are you concerned about light rail coming to the Byron-Richmond corridor?
Now's your chance to get all of city council to listen up.
There will be a special council meeting on Thursday, July 14 starting at 9:30am.
To register to speak, send an email to:councildelegations@ottawa.ca
They'll send you a confirmation email and a designated time.

  1. Great opportunity! I have reserved a 5-minute slot at the special council meeting, and will be preparing with a group of concerned and engaged local residents. Come on out next Thursday- the more the merrier!

  2. I too was planning to speak at this but the agenda is solely about the Tunney's to Blair road portion of the LRT; the Western LRT extension is not on the agenda. I spoke with the Program Manager of the Council and Standing Committees Unit and she advised that this is probably not the appropriate session to speak on the Western LRT and attempts to do so might be ruled out of order. FYI
